WHAT FABRICS CAN BE DYED?

Although almost all fabrics, yarns, cords and ropes will dye, natural ones or those containing a high percentage of natural fibers will colour best. Fabrics such as cotton, silk, wool, and linen will absorb the dye pigment more evenly and vibrant. Synthetic fabrics can be used but require more process time as they will need to be soaked in more intense fixatives for a longer period of time to ensure the pigments attach and stay colour-fast.
